What is Superstition?
Superstition is goth with a wink, we are Boston's funky dark disco, a chimera of sound, and an absolutely dance filled party. Each month offers something different as we bring together DJs with unique specialties. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of fun so you can have one heck of a great Friday night.
We also host special events that happen throughout the year like our 'Time Travelers Welcome' 'In Dreams', and 'Burtons Ball' costume parties. These events are run by the Superstition team but have seperate themes and vary in the type of music you will hear.

Our OFFICIAL choice for all of our events!
Tell me something, my friend.
You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?
KA-POW! Those goody two-shoes super heroes get invited to all the cool parties. Well on May 31st let your fanatical freak flag fly as all the baddies gather at Superstition. ZAP!
Friday night arch-villains and super baddies of all types gather to dance, drink, and scheme against those pesky super heroes. Cosplay as a well known villain or come dressed as a dastardly design of your very own. Photography will be provided by the amazing Darkwell Studios to capture all the action! DJs Anomaly, L-Train and Rebel L provide the music to arch to. Beware of sneaky heroes trying to weasel their way in -- if you find one demand a dance floor battle!
Spinning will be our resident maestro of melodies DJ Anomaly. He's known to spin anything from Prince to Switchblade Symphony to Iggy Pop and every fun thing in between.
Joining him for a special guest set will be Rebel L. She first spun for Ceremony back in August 2001 (then as Blixxie). She has a strong love for goth & industrial music and she is sure to keep you moving.
Also joining this dynamic duo will be L-Train. Host of Radio Ninja on WMBR, 88.1, Cambridge (http://ltrainradioninja.blogspot.com/). She's got an eclectic taste in music enjoying everything from Thievery Corporation, Madonna, Modeselektro, New Order, The Cure, Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Goldfrapp, Ladytron, and much more.
"My set will be a mix of electronic dance music genres designed to make you boogie in your Cat Woman cosplay." - L-Train on the Radio Ninja blog.
